The purpose of the LaGrange County Horse and Pony Junior Committee is to represent the 4-H members. They help choose awards, fun night classes, and t-shirt designs. Junior committee is expected to attend the regular scheduled adult committee meetings.
Our Adult Committee consists of nine representatives elected annually at the awards program to serve a three-year term. To be a member of the Adult Committee you must first register as a leader. Committee members help plan horse & pony events, conduct 4-H meetings, and make decision with the annual running of the club. We meet 10 months out of the year, at least once a month. Please contact a current committee member if you are interested in running for the up coming year.
We are always looking for adult leaders to help our 4-H members further their knowledge and understanding of horses. Leaders can help with 4-Hers at meetings and riding practices. Help us educate the next generation of horse owners by becoming an adult leader today! Click the "Become A Leader" button above to sign up to be a leader today.
Help is always welcome in all areas of our club from working at horse shows to assisting with 4-H week. If you're interested in volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact us.
As with any oganization, we have expenses. To help us with the costs involved in keeping our program strong and growing, we reach out to our community and local businesses. If you are interested in donating to our club, we recommend contacting your local 4-H member or by clicking donate above and contacting a committee member.
